MDE has approved Dr. McGehee’s request for a waiver of make-up days missed due to inclement weather this spring. Therefore, we are not required to make up the two days missed in February and March. We will remain on the original 2014-2015 school year calendar.

Make-Up Days Update
MDE has approved Dr. McGehee’s request for a waiver of make-up days missed due to inclement weather this spring. Therefore, we are not required to make up the two days missed in February and March.
The 2014-15 school calendar (see attached) is in effect, and will be followed accordingly.
The Monday after Easter, April 6, will remain a holiday, the last day for students will be a 60% day on Thursday May 21, and the last day for teachers will be Friday, May 22.

The WIDA “ACCESS for ELLs” English language proficiency test is the test given annually during the month of April in Mississippi to measure English proficiency of English Language Learners.
