Congratulations! Camden Elementary would like to congratulate 3 of our staff members. Principal, Fannie Green has been selected as the MCSD Administrator of the year. Third grade math & science teacher, Deborah Griffin has been selected as our Teacher of the Year. LaVon Caston has been selected as our parent of the year 14-15.
MCS won the 1st Place Fundraising Award. We raised $63,615 and counting to support March of Dimes. You have truly been a lifesaver. Because of you, March of Dimes will more funds for lifesaving research and programs and works to end premature birth, birth defects and infant mortality. Every baby deserves a healthy a life......

2015 Summer Literacy Camp for English Language Learners (ELLs) - 21st Century Community Learning Center
Grade Levels: Pre-kindergarten through Grade 5
Dates: June 1 through June 26, 2015
Time: 8 a.m. until 12 Noon (Monday - Friday)
Location: Highland Elementary School
Transportation: Provided by parents of ELLs

This camp is for currently served ELLs who attend Madison County Schools.
WIDA (World-Class Instructional Design and Assessment) – April 9 through May 8
The WIDA “ACCESS for ELLs” English language proficiency test is the test given annually during the month of April in Mississippi to measure English proficiency of English Language Learners. WIDA ACCESS is used to measure Annual Measurable Achievement Objectives (AMAO) 1 and 2, monitoring the progress of English language proficiency. https://www.wida.us/
